Fishing Tips for Gilletts Lake

on October 9th

Despite its troubled past with stunted bluegills and rough fish, the Gilletts Lake of today is filled with 7-10 inch panfish, lots of bass up to 6lbs, 4-10lbs pike, catfish up to 12 lbs, and a few rare walleyes. If any of that interests you enough to actually fish here I recommend focusing your efforts in and around the 30ft deep hole, the 19' deep hole near the outlet, and the bay in the northeast corner of the lake. Tight Lines!
