Grassy Sprain Reservoir near Tuckahoe, New York
Who wrote all that nonsense about Grassy Sprain Reservoir? Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon,Lake Trout? I grew up near there and fished it most of my life. There are Black Bass, Crappie, catfish, white perch, yellow perch and it is overrun with carp. Not a bad spot in such a developed area. I live in Alaska now for many years and have'nt been back to N.Y in awhile, but I believe the the fish species claims are ludicrous. If it's true I'll leave Alaska for a while and fish in Grassy Sprain Reservoir! Check this out and get back with me. Big John from Alaska wild man of the north.
