Was there a couple of nights ago and the mosquitos are thick -too thick to fish in peace. ! Tried again the next morning with extra bug spray and found a trio parked at the fishing hole who had apparently decided it was their personal AK firing range. One hundred yards away, couldn't tell if they were drunk, high or just stupid (or all three), so the kid and I quickly left. As we were packing up two minutes after arriving, along came a friendly elderly gentlemen who had been using worms to remove half a dozen 7 to 10 inch brook trout from the stream for lunch. Thanks for spoiling a section of prime fly fishing catch and release stream for several months\years, jerk. He was lost and could not find his friends. Shame, all I could think of was the poor fish he wasted, but I offered him a ride regardless (couldn't just leave him there). He declined, thank god. Otherwise, it is a beautiful location.
