Rainbow Trout

on June 7th

Fished the entire length of the creek from hwy 86 bridge to shoal creek. Found a few deep holes with nice 15" rainbows. I mainly fished with a black wolly bugger with a gold jig head. When I wasn't catching trout, I caught a bunch of creek chubs, sunfish and the occasional smallmouth bass. Overall the trout fishing is pretty good considering you don't have to fight the crowds to catch some nice rainbow trout.
