Hope Creek Jetty near Salem, New Jersey
I could not go fishing with my best friend Bill Mcgowan today but I did call into see what he was up to. The wind was blowing a little out of the north but it is expected this time of year. Bill and I could not hook up today so he took his friend John and Patrick. Once again my bud Bill caught some small croaker's and some several striped bass. while the non fishing friends watched how it was done. I have not caught many cat fish this season strange, but Bill said he caught a few channel cats.
Bait is hard to come by this time of year but I have been keeping in touch with inside connections. Bill and I will go out on the the sunrise and hit our favorite spots. I hear the perch are out there and we will hit the back waters on the way out and on the way in. Can not wait - excited. Bill has just purchased a new boat and I can not wait to take her for a spin.
