Hunting Reservoir is known for two things, a well preserved mammoth skeleton that was found as the dam was being build and a very nice tiger trout fishery. While I doubt you are going to catch many mammoths you can lots of tiger trout by using flashy spoons and spinners. Swimbaits work well when the fish are inactive. Bait works well in the late morning and early afternoon. Float tubers report a nice early morning and evening bite on flies.
