Bass can be found early in the shallows using topwater. As the day rolls on bass will get more lethargic and you will need to slow it down with soft plastics fished slow along the bottom. In the evening try topwater again and crankbaits.
One of the best Bass lakes

J Percy Priest Lake is known as one of the best bass lakes in the area. Along with the bass you can also find excellent striped bass, really good catfish, and nice panfish. If you decide to fish here in the spring try fishing the lakes up river end where you can find fish near feeder creeks, weeds, fallen trees, and small shallow bays. Latter in the year most of the fishing shifts to the down river part of the lake where you will find fish hanging out around drop offs, feeder creeks, fallen trees, old river channels, weed lines, and bait schools. Think about using crank baits, spinners, soft plastics, and live/dead bait. Good luck fishing!
