Johns River near Westport, Washington
Johns River offers a nice fishery of winter steelhead, coho salmon and anadromous cutthroat. If you catch a wild steelhead, it must be released per state regulations. Check the regulations pamphlet for fishing seasons, limits and area boundaries (such as the fact you have to release steelhead). This stream's lower reaches are perfect for some canoe fishing, I recommend using them because it gives you access to spots shore anglers can't reach.
