Lake Avery near Meeker, Colorado
Shore fishing is productive in the spring and fall, the rest of the year you are going to want a boat. Trolling is the most effective presentations out here. Be warned though, boats are only allowed at wakeless speeds. The fishing is pretty good for 10-14 inch rainbows. Every year a couple of trout are caught in excess of 4lbs.
