Fishing Tips for Lake Cornelia

The fishing in Lake Cornelia is about average. If you happen to find yourself fishing here try fishing after dark on the bottom with dead fish, worms, stink bait, and shrimp for bullhead and catfish. In the spring you can find all of the species in the lake try fishing shallow in the spring when they are spawning. The rest of the year try fishing the main lake with Zip lures, crankbaits and spoons for white bass. Perch the rest of the year can be caught near weedlines, drop offs, rocks, and any main lake structure. Live bait, jigging spoons, and tiny spinners work well for perch. If you are looking for walleye all you have to do is follow the perch schools.
