Fishing Tips for Lake Howard

Located 7 ¾ miles NW from Marysville, Lake Howard covers 27 acres and reaches depths of 51ft. It offers a decent fishery for bass and trout. Try fishing the south and north shorelines, the steep drop offs and deep weedlines surrounding the deep hole, the lily pads, boat docks, and wood structure with the usual baits and lures. Public access is provided by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The access area has a solid gravel launch area and a large parking lot, with pit toilet across the street and east of the launch area. No internal combustion engines are allowed on the lake.
