Lake Milton near Craig Beach, Ohio
Lake Milton is another one of those lakes that could be amazing if not for one thing, all the heavy pressure. If you are even considering fishing out here on a summer weekend you have another thing coming, you will literally be driven off the lake. Still, if you can get onto the lake during the off season you will find nice stocked walleyes and muskies along with the natural average largemouth bass, nice smallmouth bass, channel catfish, and panfish. If you are interested in fishing here I recommend casting or trolling the old river channel, the weedbeds paralleling the South East River Road, the shorelines the channel cuts really close to, the main lake hump, the points, the deep water along the dam, the bridges crossing the lake, and the rocky ledges (they are harder to find but well worth the effort). Orange or chartreuse/lime crankbaits, jigs, live bait, soft plastics, or spoons work very well.
