Black bass are biting fair on jig head worms, brush hogs and Texas-rigged U tail worms.

Bass are fair on peanut butter and jelly-colored football jigs and Alabama rigs rigged with swimbaits fished slow. Stripers are biting well on Alabama rigs rigged with 3- and 4-inch shad-colored swimbaits along secondary lake points in creek channels. Crappie are still good and being caught near and over brush in water 20 to 25 feet deep. Fish a minnow or crappie grub about 12-18 feet deep over the cover.

Largemouth bass are fair on crankbaits and big Texas-rigged worms. Try fishing near brush in water 25-30 feet deep. Walleye are slower. These fish are being caught on jigging spoons near humps and main lake points with brush.
