Lake Vic is a tourist attraction of Stratford with available canoe renting and paddle boat renting. It will get pretty busy in town on Lake Vic so stick to the norther end of it and either fish from boat or if you find a vacant shoreline that works too. The bass are hitting on top water hard baits like jitterbugs and 6 piece chuck it kits. The trout have been hitting on doughs and fly baits each season but in the early morning hours. We found the trout becoming fickle and tough to hook in the afternoons, the traffic and public about triple on a good day so this could be the reason. Great times around here and some great knowledgeable locals.
Species Caught: Largemouth Bass
