Levings Lake near Rockford, Illinois
The main draw for Levings Lake is the catfish and pike. The catfish are about average in size but there are good numbers of them thanks to the fact they have been stocked since 2005. If you fish dead bait, worms, or live bait near shore you should be able to catch a few. The pike are mostly left over’s from stocking in the 90s which means there are some big fish in here. Fish with spoons, spinners, and soft plastics for pike. Good luck fishing!
