Loomis Lake near Valparaiso, Indiana
The pier most west around the cove before the lake houses. The only time I've been successful is at dusk or later. You can hit fish persistently throughout the night using cranks, spinners, and soft minnows or live. I wont give up my secret but there are monster flathead cats in there in the evening as well. Problem is they shut down at 10:00pm, but the officer will only kick out the people who parked inside the park. Park down the road and hoof it there and with a lantern enjoy the haul.
