Loon Lake near Wayland, New York
The panfish are really nice in Loon Lake growing up to about 1lb and they are plentiful. The bass here are not nearly as good only average about 2lbs but are not very common. The weeds along the southwest shore, the weeds at the top of the lake, the sandbar in the middle of the lake, and the drop off along the east side of the lake are the best spots in the whole lake. Jigs tipped with live bait or live bait on tiny hooks under bobbers. Good luck fishing!
