Cut anchovies, night crawlers or hot dog are your best bet for catfish. There are some good spots on the north end of the lake that don’t get fished as heavily as the south end does.

The fishing here is not the best but between the decent fishing, relaxed atmosphere, and less fishing pressure the average response from anglers is good. Since the trout fishing is mostly put and take so the best fishing happens when they are stocking. Power Bait, corn, worms, and salmon eggs work best for trout. For catfish consider using shrimp, stink bait, dead fish, and worms on the bottom after dark. Panfish can be caught on worms, and grubs fished under bobbers. Crappies love jigs or crappie minnows. For bass try spinners, soft plastics, jigs, crankbaits, and live bait. Tight Lines!
