Bass can be caught right now on shallow crankbaits and jerk baits right now in the pre-spawn as the bass are headed shallow to stock up for the spawn. Look for them in the shallow creeks. Catfish can be caught on live and cut shad fished near shallow and deep cover. Crappie can be caught on minnows near brush piles and fallen trees.
