Moira River near Deseronto, Ontario
The Moira runs through belleville and has some nice moving waters. There are bass and trout along the river. We had fished for bass mainly, we cast shorelines with top water baits, chuck it kits and live baits like worms and frogs.. had luck closer to the mouth of the river along the weeds and in the rocks. Went out on a windy day and was surprised at the action we saw. Early morning starts are always key or late eve casts. Used spin reels by sienna, a lite weight rod and monofil lines.
