Crappie in Mud Lake
by Samantha Andrus
on May 14th
Mud Lake is a favorite fishing destination due to their overabundance of crappie. They enjoy spawning in these waters since they are a bit warmer than some of the other lakes. They spawn in the weedy, rocky areas throughout the lake and tend to stay clumped together. Not only do they provide you with a breeding ground, but they come hungry. They will bite on soft bait, and live bait is also an option. Something that catches their eye is always a plus.
