New River near Bandon, Oregon
Searun cutthroat trout start off the spawning season from July through fall. Late October and early November is when a good run of Chinook usually enter the river. Bank fishing is very productive. The fair run of steelhead enters the river in December. Coho angling is closed. If fishing in the river is slow, try the mouth for excellent surfperch.
