Salmon fishing in this area is pretty good. Use an orange colored cracked bait which is essentially a bait broken in two, connected by a wire. The end of the bait will be pulled through the water and swim very life like. A 6" will work fine, let your bait out and be carried down current 100 feet or so. Reel in slowly back to your boat at around 2 mph. Use a stealth type leader at the end of your line, something fluorocarbon and lightweight.
