Great Fishing in Guadalupe
by Richard Cook
on June 20th
Three varieties of bass are in the Guadalupe - largemouth, smallmouth and the native Guadalupe. Largemouth like quiet water, the Guadalupe prefer flowing water. Also there are channel and flat head catfish. Beyond the dams, there are sunfish and crappie along with gar and carp. I favor fly fishing here, but live bait such as crickets, worms, minnows, grubs, and grasshoppers work well too.
Species Caught: Largemouth Bass
