Fishing Tips for Polliwog Pond
by Vince L
on October 4th
The panfish, in Polliwog Pond, are found only in limited numbers but Polliwog Pond makes up for that with it’s nice stocked brown trout, good rainbow trout, and even a fair (and getting better) kokanee salmon population. If you want to fish for these fish you should try fishing the fallen trees, inlets, outlets, shallow rocks, and weeds in the spring and the drop offs, weed lines, fallen trees, inlets, outlets, the points, the humps, and the deep hole the rest of the fishing season. You may want to try fishing with spinners, soft plastics, jigs, crank baits, worms (baitfish are prohibited), and top waters. Good luck fishing!
