This is one of the largest man made lakes in the country and probably the best fishing lake in Mass. It is home to 27 different species of fish including Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. There is an enormous amount of large white perch with no creel limit. It is not unusual for anglers to catch 50 of these tasty panfish in a single day The trout are the main attraction. Check regulations for slot limits and bag limits. This lake has also been features in the national outdoor magazines as a prominent bass lake. Whatever you like to pursue it swims in here. Access is easy by trailer.
