Reebs Bay

on December 28th

Reebs Bay has steelies, rainbows, brownies, smallies, rockies and largemouths. For the local angler fly baits are recommended on the trout. They feed off insects as teenagers and will continue to do so until adult hood when they will start to feed on egg clusters. Any surface insect bait will attract a hungry trout. Pop the bait off the surface, swim it along the ripples and a trout will be stalking. The bass will be along the shorelines hitting on top water frog baits and crankers. Lake Erie sees some high winds, so the bay are good to fish on a windy day to see coverage from the waves. Inlets and bays have the best trout and bass fishing. The walleye will be out toward the centre a bit more.
