on September 27th

Went to rocky creek by union Grove NC and caught nice sized beautiful longear sunfish, a Male and female, and a good size bluegill, and a few 9-11 inch bullheads . It was good for about 3 1/2 hours of fishing! I caught everyone of the sunfish on a black and chartreuse jig on a bobber I released all fish except 1 sunfish I cut up and used for bait for the bull heads I used 1/2 inch fillet chunks on a catfish rig I tie, it uses 2 1/4 oz. Split shots then 8 inches down a small bobber then 6 inches down a small true turn or circle hook with cut bait! Good day for a small creek I could cast across!
