Spring Lake near Manito, Illinois
Spring Lake clearly is a really good musky/pike lake as evidenced by the fact it is a brood stock lake for both species. Also found in Spring lake are lots of 2-4lbs bass, with plenty of big ones mixed in, lots of nice crappies, and good catfish. In the spring it would be wise to try fishing the shallow north and south ends of the lake. The rest of the year it would be a good move to fish weed lines, deep water, and weed pockets. Think about using spinners, weedless jigs, and soft plastics. Good luck fishing!
