A popular summer vacation lake Sydenham Lake is heavily fished but still manages to offer a steady fishery. Smallmouth bass are king but largemouth and big pike are close behind. The northern and eastern portions of the lake usually hold the most fish. I recommend trolling until you find an area that holds fish and then casting the area. Try fishing the shallow weedy bays in the morning and evening.
