Love the creek fishing of Ontario. Drop some fly baits, larvae, egg lugs, gulp! salmon eggs, anything in the fly bait family. We wade through the creek, its not to deep to stand in. Cast west (down stream) and once the baits get out 15 metres or so, pop off the surface and we reel in mid air about a foot and half at a time. The bait lands on the water, "injured" we let it sit and get its "energy" back then pop off again. The steelies and rainbows love this and hit on the pauses and sometimes the pop offs.
Species Caught: Steelhead Trout
