Fishing Tips for Thunder Lake

on December 25th

Like most of the lakes in the area Thunder Lake offers lots of small rainbow trout that average about 20 cm. Because of the lakes high elevation good fishing doesn't start getting good until late June but then it continues through October. You can catch fish by fishing from shore but I recommend bringing a float tube or small boat if you can. Most small lures tipped with some bait will work but fly fishing will also work.
