Bass can be found early in the shallows using topwater. As the day rolls on bass will get more lethargic and you will need to slow it down with soft plastics fished slow along the bottom. In the evening try topwater again and crankbaits.

Good largemouth bass, WAY above average smallmouth bass, really good striped, white, and hybrid bass, nice catfish, better than average walleyes, and nice panfish can be found in Tims Ford Lake. In the spring the best fishing can be found near weed, wood, rock, creek lined shorelines. The rest of the year good striped, white, and hybrid bass and crappies can be found in deep water near bait schools. The largemouth bass are found near drop offs, fallen trees, and weed lines. Good smallmouth bass spots include rocks/gravel, drop offs, and near bait schools. If you are after catfish fish shorelines with dead bait, worms, and liver after dark. Trolling creek mouths, drop offs, and bait schools with crank baits and spinners are a good way to catch the lakes walleyes. Good luck fishing!
