551 ha with a mean depth of only 2.4, weed filled Upper Beverley makes for ideal bass habit. There are also a few nice pike in here. Largemouth bass are king, but there are a few smallmouth bass in here as well. Fish the weedlines with swimbaits, crankbaits, or spoons. If that doesn't work try fishing in the thick of the weeds with weedless lures like spinnerbaits, topwaters, weedless jigs, weedless spoons, and Texas rigged soft plastics. Morning and dusk are the best times to be on the water.
