Late summer and fall of 2018, fished both lower and upper Ox creek numerous times with Panther Martin #4 spinners. Caught some 4-9" Brookies in lower Ox but there are many more chubs than trout here. Beavers prolly not helping this lower stretch. Upper Ox much better fishing catching many Brookies in the 7-10" range.

8/1/2018 fished Lower Ox Creek with crawlers and roostertail spinner. Caught lots a chubs but no trout. The creek is listed as class II and III but DNR says that may change to non trout stream in future due to warm water. They also said it was possible for some trout to stray down stream from upper Ox during Spring or Fall so they are looking for current fishing reports for their data. I measured 62° water temp and there semed to be good habitat with stretches of gravel and rock with small rapids.
