Wabamun Lake near Betula Beach, Alberta
Bernie N. recently pointed out that walleye are newly stocked, with very few caught as of 2012. There was a stocking walleye program, but the walleye failed to reproduce due to the warm water coming out of the power plant. This plant is now closed, and the walleye have been re-stocked in spring of 2012.
