Wolf River near Stanley, Wisconsin
The first 60 miles of the Wolf River all offer great trout fishing. The only bad news is you can only fish the first 34 miles of the river, unless you are an indian. There are 5 miles of catch and release only, artificials only, near Langlade. The Wolf starts off slow and cold and then begins to speed run and hustle over big boulders, into pockets, and down deep runs. The river is easily to wad and features all the usual hatches.
