Wolfe Creek Drain

on February 19th

Small little area with some crappie and bass to be had. Fished here a few seasons ago and hooked on a small large mouth bass and that was about it. Saw some crappie and brown trout swimming around but for the most part it kind of sucked. The bass I hooked was on a basic jitterbug. I ran it along the shoreline and it popped, that was about 10 minutes into casting and saw nothing after that. Does have some promising areas and is in a pretty good spot. Try for bass with topwater baits, bass bud or Gulp spray which is always good for starting up a feeding. Best of luck and please post if you catch something here or know some better spots along the creek drain.
