I forgot to add the lure that I used to catch the perch, but I do not see it listed here. I just used regular, mud eating worms as bait, half a worm does the trick!

Perch Fishing!

on May 15th

Woodward Lake provides great perch fishing. The perch come in from the smaller channels throughout the lake after they are done spawning. If you go to these smaller areas, you will be able to see schools of perch. Crappie, bullhead, bass, trout, and a few other species are also floating around. During the warmer months of the season however, you want to try to stick to the warmer waters around the lake, rather than the deeper ones in the middle. The schools will build up around the edges looking for things to eat.
