About the Campground
Gunter Hill Campground offers the peaceful scene of trees and nature overlooking the backwaters of the Alabama River. The fishing is excellent, providing challenges for the master angler as well as the occasional cane pole. The park also provides good bowhunting opportunities for whitetail deer.

Alerts and Important Information
The park will be renovated in 2010/2011. Catoma loop will be closed for reservations from Jan 1, 2010 to Sept 30, 2010 (these dates are subject to change and/or be extended).. Please call the park for additional information.
Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
One camping unit and 2 vehicles are covered by the camping fee.
There is a $2 visitor fee for non-campers.
Group shelters are only available to campers.
