About the Campground
Kent Springs Cabin is located in the Madera Canyon Recreation Area, 15 miles southeast of Green Valley, Arizona. The cabin can accommodate up to 8 people. It contains two bedrooms (one with a double-size bed, the second with a bunk bed and a roll-away single), one full bathroom, two living rooms (one with a double-size futon couch), a full outdoor deck, and a fully-equipped kitchen.
Kent Springs Cabin contains a wide variety of amenities including 1,500 square feet of indoor space; beds for eight people; a fully stocked kitchen with an electric range, double-oven, microwave and dishwasher; large dining table and chairs; outdoor furniture on a large deck overlooking Daniels Creek and charcoal BBQ grill. Parking is available on the site.
Numerous attractions are available nearby in Madera Canyon, including premier bird watching and numerous hiking trails. The cabin location is less than an half an hour from Green Valley and within an hour of Tucson or Nogales. Attractions within a one-hour drive include the Mining Museum, Titan Missile Museum, Whipple Observatory, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, San Xavier Mission, and Tumacacori National Historical Park.
Supplies you need to bring: Sheets, blankets (or sleeping bags), pillows, flashlights, towels, garbage bags, warm clothes, dish-washing liquid,and dish towels.Bring an ax for splitting firewood and matches and newspaper for the fireplace. Cell phone coverage is spotty in the canyon; there is no phone at the cabin. Pack out all food and trash when checking out of the cabin. A cabin manual is located inside the cabin to answer specific questions during your stay as well as provide you with area recreational information.
Access to the Kent Springs Cabin is through a locked gate. The gate has a combination lock, and the house key is located in a lockbox attached to the handle of the BBQ grill at the front of the house. The combinations for the gate and the lock box are given out once a reservation is made.

Alerts and Important Information
There are no housekeeping services. Guests are required to clean up after themselves and leave the cabin clean for the next renter. This includes washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down countertops, cleaning bathrooms and showers, etc. Cleaning supplies are provided.

The Kent Springs Cabin can be reserved 180 days in advance.
There are beds for 8 people in the cabin. No linens or bedding provided.
The access road leading into the cabin is passable by passenger car, but high clearance vehicles are highly recommended.
Pets are permitted in the cabin, but renters must clean-up after their pets .
Fireworks are always prohibited on all national forest lands.
All smoking must be done within enclosed vehicles or outside where the area is cleared of all flammable material.
Visitors should take normal precautions concerning wildlife when visiting southern Arizona.
