Lower Hyalite Group Site is located on the Bozeman Ranger District of the Gallatin National Forest, 9 miles south of Bozeman Montana. The group site, at 5000 feet elevation, is adjacent to scenic Hyalite creek and available for picnicking or camping. There is a covered shelter available.

Alerts and Important Information Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Please bring your own drinking water. This is a pack-in, pack-out site. This group area is available for Day Use also; each group is treated as if they would be an overnight group regardless of how early they plan to leave Check in time is 12:00pm and check out time is 11:00am A fee for exceeding the number of people listed in the reservation will be collected at the campground.
