About the Campground
Millpond Pavilion is available to reserve for groups over 25 people. It is generally open early-May thru mid-October. Millpond Pavilion is a new, 42' x 78' covered shelter that can accommodate large groups of up to 200 people; perfect for your family reunion, wedding or company function. The pavilion is adjacent to Rock Creek, a small tributary of the North Umpqua River; a great place to see spawning salmon or to go for a swim. The pavilion has a large, stone fireplace, 12 picnic tables, long serving counter, sink, multiple electrical outlets and 2 large barbecue grills. Reserving the pavilion allows your group exclusive use of the adjacent ballfield. The adjacent day-use area has horseshoe pits, children's play equipment and access to Rock Creek.
Recreational opportunities nearby include: salmon and steelhead fishing and whitewater rafting/kayaking on the Wild and Scenic North Umpqua River; mountain biking and hiking on the 80-mile long North Umpqua Trail; waterfall hiking trails; and self guided tours of the Rock Creek Fish Hatchery.
Overnight camping for groups is available at Lone Pine Group Campground and Eagleview Group Campground. See Lone Pine Group Campground and Eagleview Group Campground at recreation.gov for further details.
Other Roseburg BLM pavilions are available to reserve. See Rock Creek Pavilion and Tyee Pavilion at recreation.gov for further information.
