I have always wanted to fish the Red Lake Reservation. Something about not being able to fish somewhere convinces me the fishing must be fantastic. Hiring Justin was great for 2 reasons: 1. I was able to fished the closed water because I had a guide. 2. He knows the water like the back of his hand and kills the learning curve of fishing a new lake. He caught a lot of nice fish throughout the course of the day. Honestly, I don't know is the fishing really was that much better than public water or if it was just that I was fishing with a great guide. Either way, we caught a lot of nice fish and I walked away happy.
