Leech Lake trip

Recently I booked a fishing trip with Matt for a day of fishing on leech lake. A front had blown through the night before and the fishing was tough, most were fishing the deep structure with very few fish being taken. Matt finally found the fish shallow in the weeds feeding on crayfish. We boated many 16-26 inch walleyes, numerous northern pike and kept a bucket of trophy leech lake perch. Thanks again to Matt we will surely be back for another Leech lake trip.

Thunder Lake Experience

When Matt took us out crappie fishing on Thunder Lake it was incredible. We spent time learning about their pre-spawn, spawn and post-spawn locations. Also, we were able to sight fish which was a new experience. It was fun to fish several different kinds of plastics. Our limits were filled and pretty soon it was just a catch and release trip. Great time Matt, thank you so much for your hospitality and expertise. ~Brian Witherax~
