Holy @#$%! That is the only way to describe tieing into one of these prehistoric monsters. The AVERAGE is 100lbs and sturgeon up to 1000lbs have been caught. These are saltwater size fish, not freshwater. Needless to say, the average angler doesn't have the know-how or equipment necessary to successfully fish these beauties. That is where Silversides Fishing Adventures comes in. They have all the know-how and equipment you need. All you need is a good attitude and a tube of icy hot for the next day for the sore muscles from fighting these gigantic sturgeon. If you are not interested in the sturgeon, they also offer trips for a variety of other species.
