About the Campground

Tyee Pavilion is available to reserve for groups over 25 people. . Tyee pavilion is generally open mid-March through Late November. Tyee Pavilion is an entire area to reserve for your family reunion, wedding or company function. Tyee is right on the Umpqua River providing excellent river access and views. It's the perfect place for a small family gathering or company function of up to 50 people. The pavilion has 6 large picnic tables, long serving counter, sink, electrical outlets and a large barbecue grill. The adjacent day-use area has a large grassy area with pedestal grills, picnic tables and horseshoe pits. Recreational opportunities nearby include: salmon, steelhead and bass fishing; canoeing and kayaking; and other water play activities on the Umpqua River. Tyee Pavilion lies within the Tyee Campground, a 15 site, first come-first served facility. Group camping is available at Eagleview Group Campground, 1 mile away.

Alerts and Important Information A deposit of $50 is required when reserving Tyee Pavilion. The deposit will be refunded by Reserve America after an inspection of the pavilion is done after checkout. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance and up to 1 year in advance. This facility does not allow for walk-up reservations. Check in is at 10:00am. The pavilion and day-use area must be vacated 1/2 hour after sunset. Overnight camping is prohibited. Dogs are not allowed in the pavilion or day-use areas. Please leave your dogs at home. Placing nails and staples in the wooden beams of the pavilion is prohibited. Props for activities may be used if they are not attached to buildings, trees or dug into the ground. Hooks are located at intervals on the upper beams of the pavilion. All types of confetti (rice, straw, wood chips, etc.) are not allowed. The pavilion and other use areas must be cleaned before leaving. Pick up all trash, including cigarette butts and place into the dumpsters. Clean the tables, sink and counters. Remove all directional signs on and off site. Failure to comply with any of the above stipulations may result in partial or full forfeiture of your deposit. You may also be restricted from reserving any Roseburg BLM facilities in the future. Upon arrival, contact the Tyee host for further assistance and instructions.
