About the Campground
Canal Creek is a place with rustic appeal, for campers who really want to get away. There are 2 group sites in this area. A small stream runs through the campground, separating the two sites. Canal Site is the larger group area with a pavilion, holding up to 100 people. The site is accessed by fording the small stream.
There is plenty of open space for playing around, feel free to bring sports equipment to play. Other activities include fishing, catching crawdads, hiking, tubing and swimming.
Reservations can be made mid-May through Labor Day weekend. Reservations can be made up to 1 year in advance, but they must be made at least 4 days before your intended arrival date.
