Description:
Cathedral Rock picnic area is located in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, about 30 miles from Las Vegas. Set among the pines in an open forest, this developed facility offers plenty of space for outdoor activity. There are 3 hiking trails adjacent to the campground, with rock climbing available nearby.
Although this day use area is open year round (except for the group sites), reservations are available mid-May through Columbus Day in October. Reservations can be made up to 1 year in advance for the group sites but they must be made at least 3 days prior to your intended arrival date.
