About the Campground
Emigrant Group Campground is located at beautiful Stampede Reservoir. The reservoir holds 226,500 cubic acre feet water capacity. This group camp is surrounded by fir and pine trees with sage brush for ground cover. Some of the main recreation activities include fishing, hunting, boating and water skiing. Many miles of ATV/OHV and hiking trails also surround the area. The campground consists of 4 group sites: Prospector and Woodsman will accommodate groups of 50 and Rancher and Trapper groups of 25.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made 2 days in advance.
Prospector and Woodsman 50 people maximum with combination of 15 vehicles/RV'S.
Rancher and Trapper 25 people maximum with combination of 8 vehicles/RV'S
Quiet hours 10pm to 6am.
Pets must be leashed at all times.
No useage of firearms, chainsaws or fireworks in campground.
Fire restrictions may apply during summer months.
No ATV/OHV use in campground - exception for street legal only.
